The ADVANCE'2021 workshop has
been organized successfully online, thanks to all the
participants, authors, Keynote speakers, TPC members who
have contributed to this edition despite the complexity of
the situation. Many thanks to the chairs and their Universities of Zaragoza and Cork for kindly accepting to organize this edition. Eventually, the workshop will come back in the future to Zaragoza for an onsite workshop. After the successful organization of
the 1st ADVANCE workshop in 2012 in Canoa Quebrada (Brazil) with the
support of IFCE Aracati, the 2nd edition held in the city of Morro de
Sao Paulo (Brazil) in 2013 with the support of IFCE, the 3rd edition
was held in Miami (USA) in 2014 with the support of IFU, the 4th
edition was held in Recife (Brazil) in 2015 with the support of UFPE,
the 5th edition was held in the city of Evry Val d'Essonne (France) in
2017 with the support of UEVE/Paris Saclay, the 6th edition of the
workshop was held in the beautiful city of Santiago de Chile (Chile)
with the support of the Universidad De Chile (UC), the 7th edition was
held n Cape Verde Islands with the support of the Universidade de Cabo
Verde, the 8th edition was held in the city of Cancun (Mexico) with
support of the Universidad del Caribe and the Universidade Autonoma De
Yucatan and finally this 9th edition will be organized in the
beautiful city of Zaragoza with the support of the University of
Zaragoza and the University College Cork

The focus of the ADVANCE group is to sustain the important efforts of the worldwide scientific community, practitioners, researchers, engineers from both academia and industry to have a forum for discussion and technical presentations on the latest theoretical and technological advances in ICT to solve societal and environmental challenges for developed and under-developing countries. The workshop aims to develop the link between scientists from academia and industry worldwide to fade the digital divide between countries and organizations allowing all of them to access the latest knowledge and ADVANCING TOGETHER FOR A BETTER WORLD AND ETHICS.
The technical program of ADVANCE 2021 will be organized in several
tracks addressing specific topics in ICT. Each session will include a
keynote talk on latest advances in ICT, refereed paper presentations
of on-going research activities as well as an open discussion slot.
Accepted papers will be published in the Advance electronic proceedings with an official ISBN number. Published papers will be also indexed in the HAL Open Archive with an official DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
